Maisie Jane

Born in the 8th minute of the 4th pm hour of the 8th day of the 4th month of the 8th year of the millenium. An auspicious date to step into this world. She might live a full century and will see incredible things. At fifty years my new daughter's senior, I hope I get to see some of them with her. We are here too.

Congratulations dear P!
I'm so happy for you. And what a beautiful name
you've given her. All the best of luck in the world to you, your wife and lovely Maisie Jane!

Mrs C - I think the picture should be showing now. I passed on your congratulations to Michelle today.

Elena - Thank you Elena. Glad you like the name, it's the Scottish short form of Margaret.

Thanks, and she really looks like you Paul

Awww. Congrads, Paul & Michelle! Love her name plus her middle name looks familiar... :)
Best wishes to more new beginnings for all of you.

Mrs C - I am glad to hear that but poor thing!

GEL - thank you for your kind thoughts and wishes. Names are tricky, you can't try them on to see if they fit but this one seems to.

I'm certain you will have plenty of wonderful years together. In twenty odd years she will be delivering coffee, chocolate and a copy of her latest favorite album to her leather-wearing, motorcycle-riding old man. No tea and tartan blankets for you!

Neetee - thanks for all your sweet words. Her name, as you may know, is the Scottish diminutive for Margaret - somewhat appropriate in the Maritimes with their long Scottish association and yet a name nearly unheard of here.

Michelle - blankets and slippers are for old farts. As soon as we have proper storage space I plan to buy another Cruise Missile on two wheels. Call me Grandad...
