CJ - I never really thought of snow as a photography subject before but the light here is so clear and intense. (Hey. make it an old copy of Melody Maker and your on)

I never really knew that there are different kinds of snow.

We are expecting a Canadian clipper this weekend which means, weatherwise, double digits in the negatives (Fahrenheit).

All enjoyable, especially because I'm warm, although it has snowed here. Especially like the shot of that lovely old tree in the top photo, but the 2nd one down is my favourite. That's a stunner.

Morgan - I'm new to these low temperatures but it already seems to me that once it gets below minus 15C I just feel very cold.

JJ - thank you and I'll bet these scenes are familiar to you.

GEL - I am glad you like them. That old tree is recognisable in each view. Hmm, I wonder where your photo went.

hoooooooly. those are a beauty. and you do know i've never seen actual snow, right?

Illyria - thanks you. Actually snow is over-rated so you are missing nothing! Now the windchill factor, that really is something to shred the skin from your bones...

Dear Perfect,
Your photos make me cold just looking at them. I'm a real baby when it comes to cold weather. But you've certainly captured the spirit of winter here. I actually love these shots.

Hope life is treating you well my friend. I see you've posted some writing prior to this. I'll come back and check it out when my eyes are more awake.

Grace - I'm not sure if pictures or words speak louder. I think it may depend on the viewer/reader. Either way watch this space.

Boulies - Luckily I don't feel the cold too badly (despite the plunging temperatures here.) Life is indeed treating me well thank you. It gets mind-bogglingly complicated at times but I am getting help to simplify things. I trust you are well and happy too.

JJ - my old friend. How are you? Thank you for missing me, I am still around but keeping my head down for the moment.
