Wow Paul

You look so different with a beard, like a totally different person, its amazing. You look nice both ways, why cut it off?

April - it is an experiment which now itches and I'm not used to seeing me like this! It may stay for a while...

Hey!
It looks nice :)
And I have to agree with Miss Independant...very different..you should keep it

oh, I'm glad you're still posting. :)
As for the facial hair, your a handsome devil either way covered or bare.
I'm the one who itches (and breaks out in a facial rash) when kissed (with any "passion") from a men with a beard or moustache.
(I've heard it's nice not to need to shave though.)
I'd love your opinion of my new art collage header on my site, if you're so inclined...

think i may copy you. perhaps we can start a trend.

looking good friend.

Mrs C - hey, thanks!

GEL - I'll do some checking out soon. Yep it feels great giving my chin a rest! Trouble is it itches like crazy even on me and I may give in to the lure of the blade... As to the bike, I sold it. The car is a feeble alternative.

CJ - well you always were a dapper young man clean-shaven or bearded! Yes let's start a trend!

Ouch, you sold your bike! That stings (bad pun on "wasps...")(too expensive to ship overseas, I assume?)
Well, I hope someday, you acquire another one because of the unparalleled freedom you felt while on it.

If that itching continues, yuck. I'm a believer in comfort.

this is more for GEL than PV....
i have heard that a beard can chafe a ladies inner thigh. is this true?
;)

GEL - I looked very closely into importing it but was hit by the hassle, the expense, the insurance, the modifications to meet Canadian emmissions laws, my "pending" residency status...

Yes one day... one day.

CJ - I believe any chafing would depend on the vigour of the chin!

Ms. Kimba said...

oi!
Pending residency?
How much time they give you?
I got a 2 year temporary residency card which in the spring I get to renew it for a permanant one which will be good for as long as I wish to live here in sweden.

Oh yeah the bike!
I remember a long time ago when you posted a picture of that. I was fascinated by it. I always loved the pictures you took then and everything you had to say. I still do!

Mrs C - they gave me 12 months temporary residency while my formal application is being processed. There is no guarantee - I could easily be deported if I fail their immigration rules. All a bit precarious really.

I miss my bike.

Ms. Kimba said...

Oh for heavens sakes....12 months temp? Well we all know americans and canadians have funny little issues with each other, nothing serious of course but, that sounds whacky to me! Just...quite odd is all I have to say.

At least you already know the language unlike me, I have to go to school and learn to speak this crazy swedish stuff!

I'm sure you do miss your bike, but maybe eventually you can get another one!

You can always get another bike. As for the hair, nice but it makes you look so serious. Won't the itching/chaffing disappear as it gets a bit longer/softer?

Perfect Virgo said...

Mrs C - yep a measly 12 months then if they reject me I have to leave. However I am planning on buying a house deep in the country so they will need to find me first!

A bike is somewhere on the shopping list...

IJS - I last grew an itchy beard 25 years ago. I like a smooth chin so normal service has been resumed! My bike was one of a kind.

I never knew your eyes were blue, or that your name was Paul. Nice to know after all these years...

p.s. I like the beard. It will keep you warm in the long Canadian winter.

Perfect Virgo said...

Patry - nice to see you. Yes, still more secrets to be revealed after all these years.

My UK winters were wet and mild, these Canadian ones are frozen and bitter - quite a change. I thought growing a rug on my chin might help but I look at least 83 and it tickles so I am reaching for the blade...
