Thanks Grace, I'll take any excuse to think about music! These sprang immediately to mind but an hour from now the list would be different...
1. Street Spirit - Radiohead
2. Sweet Child of Mine - Guns n' Roses
3. Green Eyes - Coldplay
4. Time for Heroes - The Libertines
5. Guiding Light - The Veils
6. Five Years - David Bowie
7. Common People - Pulp

I've no idea what I am doing but here goes. haven't heard from you in ages. Stephanie says hi. she is peering over my shoulder - she has taught me the intricacies of MSN, Facebook and Myspace. I am underwhelmed as you can imagine. However i am reaching you today via the wonders of Broadband. I will e amil you our new e mail address - amazingly it is working - I say amazingly because we are on TalkTalk which has had some bad press recently but it seems fine - installation was reasonably simple, Firewall and anti virus appears to be working.
Yay PV, I knew I could count on your musical mind! I forgot about #2, should have been on my list! Thanks :-)
and who could argue with those?
fine choices mate.
fathorse? really? look kinda sexy to me.
superb choices - I can see you have the glint of a genuine muso in your eyes. I have just over half those in my collection.
If you were anything like me ... it was hard to pick favorites.
JJ
Fathorse - High time we had some equine obesity here... Good to see you here, you and Stphanie! Good grief man you'll have a MySpace site before you know it! Pleased to hear you have been dragged kicking and screaming into the technology age. Yep, write to me soon. Look forward to hearing your new email address.
Grace - I still get goose bumps every time I hear Slash's beautiful opening riff.
CJ - I had a hunch you would be with me on those!
Ruk - good man! Quality music leaps out at you doesn't it. I could name a thousand more. I am delighted to be reunited with my somewhat large CD collection and have just ordered a rather neat shelving and storage system from Sears.
JJ - i think mine would be different each and every day!
cool choices
enjoy that new shelving system!
'tis a great feeling to have things special organized
specially
(still can't type well-
still embarrassed by "TYPO-ease" :)
GeL - i type with two stubby thumbs!
hey!!!
You know I was wondering where to find you and through some blogging aquaintances from over a year ago, i found you today!
Dunno if you remember me or not but I am an american girl..had the blogger HAPPYCHICA, then i closed it out. I had written a book and had a blog on that too.
So I see here you now live in PEI Canada!...just as well....I moved to Sweden in December....I came this way and you run away!..lol..j-k
Hope You remember me!
Mrs CeCrux - i do indeed remember. How odd we should have raced in opposite directions. I hope you are enjoying your new life in Sweden, change is scary and challenging. (A touch easier now I have unpacked my CD collection.)
I don't know all of these, but I love Green Eyes enough that I'm inspired to check out the others.
Glad you remember me :)
I hope you enjoy Canada. I hear PEI is very nice and the people there too. Just be prepared for terrible winters!
A change of life is hard. For me it was very hard at first but I think I have adjusted now...I wish you all the luck in Canada
Oh also, funnily enough, my reason for Sweden.....I married a fellow blogger almost one year ago...who would of guessed!..lol
Mrs CeCrux - so I am not unique... We don't make life easy for ourselves do we!
Patry - oh yes do try some of the others Patry. My tastes in rock and pop are mostly on the margins but this selection is all very much mainstream.
not unique in which way?
you married a blogger too?
Mrs C - shh, don't tell everyone... :)
oi!
mums the word!
lol
Love you PV.
JJ
