Ladeez, when I was your age, Pluto was a planet.

MD1979, please come back to the blogosphere. When you're ready. Until then, love to you and Maisie.

Fatty - nothing! The big bang will apparently resolve into the big crunch but we will all be flattened long before then.

Michelle - thanks love. See you back in Prince Edward Island in a few short weeks. :)

Gordie - when I was my wife's age Patrick Moore could still walk and the moon was made of cheese!

The moon is made of cheese PV, what are you talking about?

The moon is made of horse cheese - Caciocavallo, as they say in Sicily.

I've been absent too long! You and your family have been through so much. I'm so glad Debbie is going to be OK.. How frightening!

Hope this year brings about some comfort, clarity and of course more adventures.

Elena - how nice to see you! Yes it has been a complicated and difficult time these past few months, what with one thing and another. There is an exciting new twist coming soon, when I will buy another one-way air ticket... (of which, more later)!

I am pleased to say that Debbie is much improved though not yet close to going home.
