I joined in this week PV. I expect when we stop fiddling round the extremities it'll be call "Full on nAAked Thursday"? I dread to think!

magical, simply magical. the contrast of the naked skin over the checked gray cloth is an obvious allusion to the flourishing british empire over the beanyards in the little known "war of the beans" in 1428 ad. the upwardly tufts of hair on the forearm is no doubt representative of the thousands of bean stalks that dotted the landscape of the now defunct beanland hills. if art is wrong, i don't want to be right!

Transience - two arms are useful but four arms would be great! If you were lonely you could hug yourself...

Grace - so I see, glad you joined in! A shoulder of dazzling beauty greeted me when I logged on!!

Maybe the "Blog Police" will monitor the percentage of flesh tones in our images and ban those over 75%? Heck, we'd better have fun now before we get rumbled!

JJ - ah, I just worked out all the items on your "extremeties" list, you young scamp you! But don't punish yourself, we are all humans with frail wills!

Blue - welcome. It sure is and these guys are naughtier than me!

Sirreene - welcome. Did I say fiddling around the extremities or fiddling with? You know, I am not going to check, I like your version better anyway.

Superfly - a masterful analogy by the western world's most under-rated genius author. Your detailed knowledge of Imperial British history never fails to astound me young man. Who else would be aware of that little known battle of 577 years ago?

Where are your bike pics superfly? I wanna see rolling iron.

rolling iron indeed sir! my extended departure from this virtual realm of words and images have been filled with longings for upgrades of pollished chrome and metal fittings. how quickly the currency flows from my palm to the dealers of the rumbling iron horses. alas, a digital camera i have not, the stone age is where i dwell my friend! the pains and cramps of my wrists have not gone unrubbed from the continuos swirlings of my cloth covered hands over the mirrored finish of this cruel temptress i call "black diamond." when her image i have captured at last, surely your bandwidth shall feel the weight of its presence...indeed!

Superfly - surely a modest digital image capturing device would not be beyond your considerable means? At least dig that aged box brownie from the nether corners of your cave and record "Black Diamond" for my curious eyes.

My own lustrous steed is referred to in hushed tones as "The Beast." She flies like the wind and howls like a banshee. Oil and filter have just been renewed so the Gods have sanctioned 14,000 revolutions of the warhorse per earth minute.

My bandwidth is oscillating at the very prospect of pictorial pleasure. Those prosperous dealers of rumbling iron will flourish by your temptation indeed, superfly.

i hand you my gratitude pv. this intellectual jousting of the minds was dearly past due. may the british gails of the stretching blacktops help curl your smile as you run "the beast" through her paces my friend.

Superfly - gratitude duly accepted from a longtime companion. The nightly gallop is ample reward for man and Beast whose muscles need stretching as much as the mind needs stimulation. Great repartie mon ami.

Nicely done, PV.
I linked your pic this morning with the others in this highly important venture.

Perfect Virgo said...

HP - grateful for the link which I took a peek at. Where will it all end!

Russell CJ Duffy said...

haven't i always said that you were 'armless'???

Perfect Virgo said...

CJ - oh no! No 'arm in me at all!

Finn - this proboscis a-flopping for the benefit of the camera was the best I could summon at short notice! I endeavour to keep the sinewy beast bagged most of the time but you have to let them out to wriggle once in a while!

Jen said...

Can I touch? :-)

Perfect Virgo said...

Jen - that my dear is entirely down to the conscience of the individual!!

Finn - I'm away for 5 minutes and you're already in my seat dispensing pearls of wisdom!
